Accurate prayer times, Qibla direction, Zakat calculation, and Ramadan features
| Date | Fajr | Sunrise | Dhuhr | Asr | Maghrib | Isha |
|---|
Prayer times (Salat) are calculated based on the position of the sun in the sky and the geographical coordinates (latitude and longitude) of your city. Our tool uses high-precision astronomical algorithms to provide accurate times for Fajr, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha.
Different Islamic organizations use slightly different twilight angles to determine Fajr and Isha. For example, the Muslim World League (MWL) and the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) have distinct criteria. You can adjust these methods in our App Settings to match your local masjid's schedule.
Point the arrow toward the Kaaba in Makkah
Click "Find Direction" to get Qibla
Our Qibla finder uses your device's geolocation and compass sensor to calculate the shortest path (Great Circle) between your current location and the Kaaba in Makkah. For the most accurate result, ensure you are away from large metal objects or electronic devices that might interfere with the magnetic sensor.
Inaccuracy is often caused by uncalibrated device sensors or magnetic interference. Try moving your phone in a 'figure-8' pattern to recalibrate the compass. If your device lacks a compass sensor, the tool will provide the angle relative to True North which you can use with a manual compass.
Simply click 'Find Mosque' and allow the app access to your location. Our tool will display a map with markers for all verified Islamic places of worship in your vicinity, including estimated distances and directions via Google Maps.
Yes, our tool uses global OpenStreetMap data to find masjids worldwide. Whether you are at home or traveling, you can search any area on the map to find a place for prayer and community connection.
The Hijri calendar is a lunar calendar consisting of 12 months in a year of 354 or 355 days. This makes it roughly 11 days shorter than the solar Gregorian calendar, causing Islamic holidays to move through the seasons over a 33-year cycle.
Differences arise because some regions rely on local physical moonsighting to start a month, while others use pre-calculated astronomical calendars (like the Umm al-Qura calendar). Our converter provides a standard conversion that you can adjust if needed.
ℹ️ Nisab is calculated using the lower of gold (87.48g) or silver (612.36g) value — the scholarly recommendation to benefit more people.
Zakat is the third pillar of Islam, a mandatory charitable contribution for all qualifying Muslims. It serves as a spiritual purification of wealth and a means of social justice, helping to redistribute wealth to those in need. In our zakat calculator, we help you determine the precise amount based on your current assets.
Nisab is the minimum threshold of wealth that must be held for a full lunar year (Hawl) before Zakat becomes due. Traditionally, it is based on the value of either 87.48 grams of gold or 612.36 grams of silver. Most scholars recommend using the silver threshold to maximize the benefit for the poor.
Zakat is payable on cash, gold, silver, shares, business stocks, and properties held as investments. Personal items like your primary home, car, and clothing are typically exempt. Use our Islamic zakat calculator to easily combine all your assets and subtract any outstanding debts.
The laws of inheritance in Islam are primarily derived from the Holy Quran, specifically in Surah An-Nisa. These verses provide detailed shares for family members. Our inheritance calculator uses these scriptural guidelines to provide accurate Sharia-compliant calculations.
A Muslim is permitted to bequeath up to one-third (1/3) of their estate to non-heirs or for charitable purposes through a Wasiyyah. The remaining two-thirds must be distributed according to the fixed shares defined by Sharia. This calculator helps determine those fixed shares after debts and wills are cleared.
While you can call upon Allah at any time, recommended etiquettes include starting with praise of Allah and blessings upon the Prophet (PBUH), facing the Qibla, and being sincere and persistent. Our collection includes authentic Duas for various occasions from the Quran and Sunnah.
Propitious times include during prostration (Sajdah), the last third of the night, between the Adhan and Iqamah, and on Friday (Jumu'ah). By using our prayer times tool, you can identify these spiritually powerful moments throughout the day.

A digital Tasbeeh is a modern tool to help you keep track of your Adhkars (remembrances) without needing physical prayer beads. It is especially useful for longer recitations, such as the 'Tasbeeh of Fatima' after prayers (SubhanAllah 33x, Alhamdulillah 33x, Allahu Akbar 33/34x).
Yes, our Tasbeeh tool allows you to set a target count. The counter will provide visual or haptic feedback when you reach your goal, helping you stay focused on the spiritual meaning of the words rather than the counting itself.
The 99 Names are the beautiful attributes of Allah that describe His perfection and majesty. Understanding these names helps a believer develop a deeper relationship with Him. The Prophet (PBUH) mentioned that whoever preserves/memorizes them will enter Paradise.
You can recite specific names that resonate with your current needs—such as 'Ar-Razzaq' (The Provider) when seeking sustenance or 'Ash-Shafi' (The Healer) during illness. Our tool provides audio pronunciations and meanings to help you learn and internalize these Names.
Reading the Quran daily brings spiritual guidance, tranquility (Sakina), and rewards for every letter recited. It is a way to communicate with the Creator and understand divine wisdom. Our Quran reader helps you access the Holy Text anywhere with multilingual translations.
A common goal is to complete the Quran (30 Juz) in a month by reading one Juz per day. Use our built-in Quran Khatm tracker to mark your progress as you finish each section, helping you stay motivated and consistent in your spiritual journey.
